Exploring interactions for Simulated Reality for Gaming

Together with Dimenco as client, creators of 3D stereoscopic displays, I explored possible interaction with and application of the product. I focussed on hand tracking for an interaction input in the field of entertainment. As 3D content can pop out of the screen, interacting with traditional devices (like mouse and keyboard) seemed odd. I recreated Fruit Ninja in Unity, where the player needed to cut digital 3D food with their own hands. Funny here was that the fruits can also come towards you (like in classic 3D movies) creating startled reactions from players.
